Your Responsibilities
  • Process request for Quotations (RFQs), prepare and review calculations and provide quotes in a timely and accurate manner to customers
  • Handle business transactions along the item lifecycle from RFQ to NPI, Transfer Orders or CN (check for order), track item status to achieve “technical approval” and finally get the “business award”
  • Perform Item Status Tracking and monitoring of NPI / CN / Sample orders via dashboard in order to get technical approval and business award
  • Prepare and update Customer Specific Information (quotation) for Account Manager Approval
  • Ensure customer enquiries are delivered on-time through internal coordination with CML global offices and back up by intercompany tools
  • Work closely with Account Managers, Sourcing, Demand & Supply and related departments to generate best possible solution for customers
  • Operate and report Quotation-Tracking and NPI-Tracking
  • Process item creation (Z-item) and maintain related item data in ERP system
  • Cooperate pro-actively with related departments or Account Manager and launch early warning and escalation messages to relevant parties
  • Grow business of assigned customers in accordance with company strategy and directions.
  • Accountable for timely settlement of Engineering Questions (EQs)
  • Support and participate Sales activities such as meetings, conduct customer visits if required
  • Perform assigned daily operations effectively and provide improvement suggestions to increase efficiency and ensure high level of customer satisfaction
Your Profile
  • Interest in technical fields, preferably knowhow in PCB, electronic components or customer specific products
  • Excellent customer service orientation delivered in a pro-active and cost-efficient way
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft office and ERP systems, preferably CML´s ERP system
  • Excellent command in spoken and written English and (local language)
  • Ability to effectively work with people at all levels in a multi-disciplinary and multicultural environment
  • Negotiation skills and the ability to influence business partners in critical situations to obtain consensus
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess and manage complex situations
  • Superior in organization, priority setting, accurate and efficient with attention to detail, ability to multi-task
  • Commercial vocational training
  • Minimum of 3 years work experience in customer service for international customers (B2B)
