CML has always been keen on developing the CML team and investing in the future. As we strongly believe that our people are the key to our success. That’s why at CML, we provide opportunities trainee and internship programs in order to foster young talents, where they usually spend two years rotating between the different departments. Not only do the students get to gain hands-on experience and knowledge, they are also exposed to a global network and have the chance to communicate and work with a multicultural team. At CML we do not only provide a job, but opportunities and careers.
“During my 2-year internship, I gained insight into several different departments around CML. As my internship included wholesale and foreign trade, I spent a large proportion of the time with Service Desk. Here I was pulled right into day-to-day business from day one and after just a short couple of weeks, I was able to support service desk and assist customers. Within the shortest time, I got to know CML and its people very well because I had the opportunity of rotating and working with different departments. What I appreciated the most was that I was never treated as “just” an intern but I was taken seriously and given real opportunities to get involved. At the end of the 2 years, my wishes were taken into account and I am now working as part of CML’s Marketing team where I am gaining valuable experience daily.”
